Over the past few months, Compin Fainsa has been collaborating closely with Malena Engineering on the E-Miles project — a disruptive and revolutionary 100% urban electric vehicle.

We are proud to have contributed to this innovative initiative by designing and developing the seating solutions of this project. The vehicle was officially presented yesterday at the Automobile Barcelona.

We sincerely thank Malena Engineering for their trust and the opportunity to be part of this forward-thinking project aimed at driving sustainable urban mobility.

At Compin Fainsa, we are deeply committed to shaping the future by supporting young talent and fostering professional development. Recognizing the importance of education and professional experience, we have formalized an internal internship policy over the past 10 months. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between formal education and real-world training, equipping students with valuable skills and competencies beyond their academic curriculum. From vocational training programs to university degrees, we have welcomed motivated students across various functional areas offering them their first professional experience.

While customer focus remains a fundamental responsibility of our company, our commitment extends beyond daily customer satisfaction. As part of our social responsibility initiatives, we are dedicated to implementing the policies and processes necessary to secure a sustainable future—both for our business and for the next generation of professionals.

Today in Spain, we’re pleased to count on:

• Nerea and Abdul developing their skills in the Group system department.
• Hugo involved in R&D project; student of last course in Mechanical Engineering (UPC).
• Ainara developing internal / external group marketing activities.
• Alejandro learning in our LAB in Barcelona.
• Soraya acquiring experience in time and methods processes in Linares.
• Marcel, very competent student of Supply Chain studies, who is supporting in Sales Administration department.
• Oumou always open to learn in front any specific need in accounting department, and always with the best smile.

In addition, now we have one student from IFE: Anoni Kazmierczak, (International Faculty of Engineering) writing thesis according to Compin Polska.
Topic of thesis: Optimization of the Painting Process in the Production of Passenger Train Seats Using Lean Manufacturing.

Furthermore, we have reached agreements with Jaén University, Barcelona Polytechnic University, andseveral secondary schools near our sites in Barcelona and Jaén. These partnerships will allow us to attract motivated students who are eager to strengthen their skills in areas such as welding, prototyping, painting,design methods, and quality processes. We are excited to bring in new talent to reinforce these essentialcompetences as soon as possible

As we step into 2025, we look back on an extraordinary year filled with milestones and successes that solidify our position as a world leader in passenger seating. Thanks to the trust and collaboration of our valued customers and partners, we have not only maintained our legacy of over 100 years but also expanded our innovative footprint in public transport.

In addition to the our commercial success, this past year; we proudly launched new seating models that seamlessly blend classic design elements with modern passenger experiences. Our participation in industry events, such as InnoTrans 2024 and FIAA 2024, has strengthened our connections and opened new opportunities for collaboration.

Looking ahead, 2025 promises to be a year of growth, innovation, and continued partnership. With exciting new projects in the pipeline, we remain committed to designing solutions that enhance comfort, safety, and sustainability for passengers worldwide.

Under the leadership of our R&D Department, the internal comfort trials of our seats have been completed succesfully.

In line with our continuos improvement goals, extensive efforts of all relevant departments guarantees the positive passenger experience.

COMPIN POLSKA was present at this year's Trako Fair in Gdańsk.

COMPINFAINSA is absolutely thrilled to be a key contributor to the cutting-edge Omneo train, jointly unveiled by Alstom and Transdev for the Marseille-Toulon-Nice line in France – called OSUD trains!

Our pride rises as the interior unfolds not only Seats produced in LODZ but also the new Partition Wall of driver cab & Tip-Ups, both produced in LINARES.

For the OSUD project (Regio2N Omnéo trains from Alstom), COMPINFAINSA EVREUX and COMPINFAINSA LINARES have developed an acoustically isolating partition wall which is fire resistant during 15 minutes according to the new standard EN 45545-3.

From the strong collaboration between the Interiors System teams in COMPINFAINSA Evreux and Linares we have been able to carry out a full-scale test of the fire resistance partition wall. To perform the tests, the partition wall was equipped on the cabin side  with temperature sensors and on the passenger side with burners to simulate a fire with temperatures rising to 800° C after 15 min. . Our product properly withstood 20 minutes before the flames spread.

We have been awarded a special order for the city buses to be operated in Amiens, France. The city of Amiens is located 100 km north of Paris and features a main characters of the France history: Jules VERNE, the famous writer of Journey to the Center of the Earth (1864), Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas (1870), and Around the World in Eighty Days (1872). The Municipality of Amiens has chosen our NEOCITY seat, highlighting Amiens' main monuments (e.g. the cathedral) as well as its Jules Vernes museum. Compin Fainsa team supported the assembly in the bus to achieve the requested positioning.

We took our place in one of the biggest Commercial Vehicles show, Busworld Europe, in Brussels. While the major players of the Commercial Vehicles sector showcased their new developments, COMPIN FAINSA seats accompanied three of the vehicles in the exhibition. Visitors of our stand have been greeted by our modern and distinctive designs.

Groundbreaking event, held from October 8th to October 10th, marked our first attendance into the world of public transportation exhibitions in USA. It was a celebration of our growing connections with suppliers and customers, as well as a unique opportunity to gauge the competitive landscape. Hosting our first APTA Expo allowed us to establish a notable presence in the public transportation sector. It showed our commitment to the industry and our dedication to serving the needs of our customers and partners.

Recently, the Spanish manufacturer TALGO signed the largest contract in its history with German railways DB for the supply of up to 100 high-speed intercity trains. Fainsa seats have been selected!
